The Club is located off route 1 Richmond Highway only 20 minutes from Bishop Ireton

Arriving at the Club
Upon entering the property, park in any unmarked spot. The golf valet and bag drop are located to the left of the Clubhouse. Here, members of the Mount Vernon Country Club staff will take care of your clubs and direct you to the clubhouse where registration will be setup in the main ballroom near the putting green.

Attire

Tournament Information
The tournament will be held at Mount Vernon Country Club and will be a scramble format - all players tee off and select the best drive; all players then continue play from that position.


On Course Contests
Course Contests include Closest to the Pin, Long Drive, Cannon Shot, and Putting.

Raffles and Auction
Bidding on auction items and purchasing raffle tickets can be done before the tournament and during the evening program. All bidding will end at 8:00 PM. Click Here to donate an item to the auction/raffle.


Food and Beverage
Breakfast items will be available before the 11:30 Shotgun Start. Also, a full grab and go lunch will be served on the patio during play.  On course refreshments are available and from circulating carts. Our evening program will feature a reception with stations and passed hors d’oeuvres.

 

Forms of Payment Accepted
The Bishop Ireton Golf Classic accepts all major credit cards, cash, Venmo, and checks. Sponsorship and admission should be paid via the website or check/credit card prior to the tournament unless otherwise arranged with the Golf Committee and/or Advancement Office.

Volunteering
