An evening (Friday, April 19) with a “veteran insider” looking at the American participation in the Air War over Europe (1942 – 1945) at 19:00-21:00 hours.

Many of you have either heard about, have been watching or plan on watching the newest television mini-series entitled Masters of the Air on Apple TV. The Masters of the Air is the third of a series by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg that deals with the Air War over Europe as seen through the eyes of the personnel of the 8 th United States Army Air Force (USAAF) during World War Two. Their earlier series, the Band of Brothers (2001) and the Pacific (2010) series, brought you into the perspective of the individual soldier or marine in combat on the ground. Masters of the Air will take you into the combat perspective of the individual airman in the sky.
